Good To Know : Engagements Photos

OMG! You got engaged!

Congratulations!!! Now it's time to take photos. Your engagement photoshoot shouldn't be a stressful event. The following is intended to be a guide to help you prepare for your shoot.

How It Works

01.

Booking

After sending in an inquiry, I'll reach for more information. Who, what, when, where, and why kinda thing. After, you will be sent a contract, invoice, and booking confirmation. Once all of those documents have been taken care of, you will be officially booked.

02.

Leading Up

By this time everything should be taken care of; time, place, etc. You will receive this guide but that doesn't mean you won't still have questions. Feel free to contact me at any time with questions that you may have.

03.

The Shoot

Now it's time for the fun part. I'll meet you at the designated location. Don't worry about posing, I'll direct you on everything you need to do.

04.

Afterwards

Within 3 weeks you will receive an online gallery with all of your photos. You will have the ability to download every single photo.

Tips On Posing

I. You're Photogenic!

Everyone is photogenic, trust me, it just takes a little bit of confidence. Stand up straight, take a deep breath, and relax. That's all there is to it.

II. Where Do I Put My Hands?

Not knowing where to put your hands can be awkward. Here are some ideas that will work every time:

  • Hands in your pockets.
  • Hands on your hips.
  • Adjust your jewelry / accessories.
  • Tuck your hair behind your ear.
  • Cross your arms.

III. Trust Your Photographer!

Your photographer is there for you! It's my job to make you look good. I will have plenty of pose ideas up my sleeve and will direct you on how to pose. So just remember to relax, have fun, and trust your photographer.
